Free. No signup. No account. Turn on one setting in WSJT-X and every QSO you log starts scoring.

1

Make sure your callsign is set

In WSJT-X go to File → Settings → General and check that My Call is your callsign. That's the name you'll play under. There's nothing to register.

2

Send your logged QSOs to the game

  1. In WSJT-X go to File → Settings → Reporting.
  2. Find the section called Secondary UDP Server. Older versions of WSJT-X call it N1MM Logger+ Broadcasts. It's the same thing.
  3. Check Enable logged contact ADIF broadcast.
  4. Enter this server address and port:
    Server address and port
The IP goes in the "Server name or IP address" box and the port in the "Server port number" box. The Copy button copies just the IP.
  5. Click OK. That's it.
Already using GridTracker, JTAlert, Log4OM or another logger?
You're fine. Those use the main UDP Server section of the Reporting tab. This is a separate setting, so you don't need to change anything else, and your other programs keep working. (If you already use this section to feed N1MM, ask on Discord first.)
Using JTDX, MSHV or something else?
Look for a setting that sends logged QSOs as ADIF over UDP and point it at the same address. WSJT-X is the only program I officially support, but players use others too. Ask on Discord if you get stuck.

Make a QSO, then check you're in

Work a station like you normally would and click OK on the Log QSO window. Then enter your callsign here:

If we've got your QSO you'll see a 🎉. If not, you'll get a short checklist.

❓ Common questions

Does it cost anything?
No. It's free.
Do I need to sign up?
No. Your callsign in WSJT-X is your player name. You show up on the board after your first logged QSO.
Will this change my logging, LoTW or QRZ uploads?
No. The game only receives a copy of each QSO you log. Your normal logging stays exactly the same.
Do I have to operate differently?
No. Just make QSOs like you always do. If you want to climb faster, play on more days and try FT4 and other bands.
My QSO didn't show up. What now?
Check your callsign on step 3 for a checklist. The most common causes are a typo in the address, the setting not being checked, or not clicking OK on the Log QSO window. Still stuck? Ask on Discord.
